If you still have the label on your TorqueMaster spring tube, you can skip the measuring and jump straight to ordering the right spring — all you need is the part number.
This is one of the easiest ways to get matched with the exact replacement. Here’s how to do it.
Start by looking for the white or yellow label on your spring tube. It’s usually close to the metal bracket on one side. You might need to rotate the tube by hand to see the full label if it's tucked behind the bracket.

Now, look closely at the label. You’ll see a number that looks something like this:
314953 or 315001
That’s your part number. It’s usually near other info like wire size or spring length, but you don’t need any of that for this method — just that 6-digit number.

Some garage doors use two TorqueMaster springs, but the label might only show one part number. That’s normal. If you only see one, and you’re replacing both springs, we recommend switching to the Wire Size or Door Height & Weight method just to be safe.
If you’re not sure, take a photo of the label and send it to us — we’ll help you figure it out.
Once you have the part number, go to the “Order By Part Number” section of the selector tool.
Use the dropdown to find your number, hit Add to Cart, and you’re done.

We've found that replacing the majority of the hinges and installing the rest of the kit does a pretty good job of silencing the door without needing to deal with that bottom roller. If you really feel it needs to be changed, we have a separate process for that, but it's not necessary for most installations.
