Motor control (logic) boards are the “brain” of your garage door opener. They power the safety sensors, read signals from remotes and keypads, and control the motor and lights. If your opener is unresponsive or behaves erratically, replacing the control board can restore safe, reliable operation.
Notes: Always unplug power before servicing. Some boards for older models may be discontinued. If only the radio receiver has failed, a universal external receiver can be a practical workaround; for multiple faults or heavy damage, consider upgrading the opener.
