Silence noisy garage doors with our all-in-one Quieting Kits. Each kit includes premium ultra-quiet nylon rollers, isolating sleeves, retaining clips, and high-performance lubricant to eliminate metal-on-metal squeaks and rattles. DIY-friendly and built for most 7’–8’ residential doors, with add-on packs for tall/custom doors.
⚠️ SAFETY WARNING: Do not replace rollers or install sleeves on the bottom bracket rollers. That area holds full spring tension and can cause severe injury. Only service rollers above the bottom brackets.
How to choose the right Quieting Kit
- Count the rollers you will service (all rollers above the bottom brackets). Most standard doors use 10–12 serviceable rollers.
- Check door height/sections. Use our base kit for most 7’–8’ doors; add the 2-roller Add-On Pack for RV-height or multi-section doors.
- Confirm track size. Most residential doors use 2" track—our rollers are designed for this standard.
- Plan the install path. Work one section at a time, replacing the roller and adding a sleeve where the roller meets the hinge bracket.
- Lubricate moving points (hinge pins, roller shafts, and bearings) with the included high-performance lubricant—avoid the tracks themselves.

Will these kits fit my door?
They’re designed for most residential 2" track systems (torsion, extension, or Torquemaster spring types). If your door is taller than standard, use our 2-roller Add-On Pack.
How much noise reduction can I expect?
Most customers see a dramatic drop in screeching and rattling by eliminating metal-on-metal contact and using premium quiet rollers and sleeves.
How long does installation take?
Typically 45–90 minutes for a standard door using basic tools. Work methodically, one section at a time, and do not touch the bottom bracket rollers.
Do I grease the tracks?
No. Apply lubricant to hinge pins, roller shafts, and bearings only. Keep tracks clean for smooth rolling.

We've found that replacing the majority of the hinges and installing the rest of the kit does a pretty good job of silencing the door without needing to deal with that bottom roller. If you really feel it needs to be changed, we have a separate process for that, but it's not necessary for most installations.
