Genie Garage Door Opener Remote Control
Genie garage door openers use different radio systems, so not all remotes are cross-compatible. To find the right replacement, check the opener’s manufacture date (on the power head label) or confirm whether it uses Intellicode 1 or Intellicode 2. Note: pre-1993 non-Intellicode models do not support modern remotes.

What if I have an older dip switch model?
Older dip switch units (SP series, GS series, SD series, etc.) are not compatible with current Intellicode remotes.
Is there a universal option?
Yes. The GM3T-BX works with most Genie openers from 1993 to present, including Intellicode models and community gate receivers.
