Genie Garage Door Opener Keypads
Genie wireless keypads provide convenient keyless entry using a secure PIN. Compatibility depends on the opener’s manufacture date and Intellicode version. Note: pre-1993 non-Intellicode models do not support replacement keypads.
How do I know which Chamberlain remote will work with my opener?
Check the color of the Learn button on your opener’s motor unit. Orange/amber or purple buttons use Security+ rolling code remotes, while older dip switch models require a compatible fixed code remote.
Can I use a universal remote with my Chamberlain opener?
Yes. Universal remotes are designed to work with most Chamberlain openers. They’re a great option if you’re unsure about your exact model or want one remote for multiple doors.
How do I program a Chamberlain remote?
Press and release the Learn button on your opener, then press the button on your new remote. The opener light will blink or click to confirm programming.
Will newer Chamberlain remotes work with older openers?
