Wayne Dalton no longer manufactures garage door openers, but many replacement parts remain available for existing opener systems including remotes, wireless keypads, safety sensors, wall stations, control boards, and other replacement components.
Most Wayne Dalton opener systems operate on either 303 MHz or 372 MHz radio frequency systems. Matching the correct frequency and model series is important when replacing remotes, keypads, or electronic components.
Wayne Dalton opener accessories must match the radio frequency used by your opener system. Most older Classic Drive and Quantum models used 303 MHz controls, while many newer Quantum, Prodrive, Doormaster, and iDrive models used 372 MHz accessories.
If your opener will not close the door, first inspect the safety sensors near the bottom of the tracks. Dirty, blocked, or misaligned sensors are one of the most common causes of closing issues.
If your remote or keypad will not program, verify the opener frequency and confirm you are using compatible accessories. Many Wayne Dalton systems require either 303 MHz or 372 MHz compatible transmitters.
A flashing opener light may indicate a sensor issue, wiring problem, or incomplete programming cycle. Inspect all sensor wiring connections and verify the opener is not in lock or vacation mode.
Most Wayne Dalton remotes are programmed by pressing and releasing the “Program” button on the opener motor head. Once the indicator light turns on, press the desired remote button twice to complete programming.
Programming steps may vary slightly by opener model and series.

We've found that replacing the majority of the hinges and installing the rest of the kit does a pretty good job of silencing the door without needing to deal with that bottom roller. If you really feel it needs to be changed, we have a separate process for that, but it's not necessary for most installations.
