How to Order Garage Door Springs

First thing you need to do is determine what type of spring system you have on your garage door. There are three categories of springs as shown below. Springs are not specific to the model of your door (meaning you could have any of these with pretty much any type of door). The easiest way to figure out what you have is to go in your garage and look at your spring setup then compare with the graphic below.
