If your garage door remote suddenly stopped working or if your range is so short you have to be right next to the door don’t panic. This FAQ covers the most common causes of remote issues and how to fix them, whether it’s RF interference, remote battery problems, or faulty logic boards.
A: The most common cause is radio frequency (RF) interference from something electrical inside or near your garage. This interference disrupts the signal between your remote and opener.

A: Yes! Even a brand-new device or one you’ve owned for years can suddenly begin broadcasting interference and reduce your remote’s range. Just because it’s always been there doesn’t mean it’s not the culprit now.

We've found that replacing the majority of the hinges and installing the rest of the kit does a pretty good job of silencing the door without needing to deal with that bottom roller. If you really feel it needs to be changed, we have a separate process for that, but it's not necessary for most installations.
