Bulb Shaped End Garage Door Bottom Weather Seal Wayne Dalton 154448

The original Wayne Dalton bottom weather seal, part 154448. It has a small faceted bulb (about 1/8") on each end that slides into the Wayne Dalton bottom retainer. Typically about 3 1/4" wide.

What you get: 1 piece in the length you pick, cut 2 to 3 inches long so you can trim it. Retainer and screws not included.

⚠ NOT FOR AMARR DOORS. Amarr doors use a triangle seal, so this seal will not fit.

Match the End Profile Exactly

Pull a few inches of your old seal out of the track and look at the cut end. It must match the faceted bulb shown in the photos. Width can vary a little, but the end must match. Beads, T ends and triangle ends will not fit. We carry 5 seal profiles; if yours doesn't look like one of them, you need a different seal.

Seals vary even within the same model, so always check the end of the seal on your door now.

How to Pick the Right Seal

1. Slide a few inches of the old seal out of the end of the bottom retainer.
2. Compare the cut end to the close-ups below. This seal has a small faceted bulb, about 1/8".
3. If your end is a round bead or a flat T, pick that seal from the chart instead.
4. If it looks like none of these (for example the triangle end on Amarr doors), this seal and our other seals will not fit.
5. Measure your door width and pick that length or the next size up.

Installed, both bulb ends slide into the bottom retainer and the seal loops down to the floor, ribs facing the ground. Compare this to your door before you remove the old seal:

The seal ships a little long. Leave about 1" extra on each side, then trim.
