1.  **Identify Sides:** Locate the labels on each wrap. Set aside the piece marked **Right** for the right side of the spring tube.
2.  **Orient the Wrap:** Hold the right drum wrap with the **tabs facing right**.
3.  **Slide onto Tube:** Slide the wrap over the **right end of the spring tube**.
4.  **Cover the Drum:** Continue sliding until the wrap goes over the **cable drum assembly**.
5.  **Clear the Latch:** Gently pull the lift cable outward just enough to clear the wrap’s latch area.
6.  **Seat the Wrap:** Push the wrap toward the **last rib** of the drum until the **three catches snap into the third rib**.
7.  **Lock the Hinge:** Rotate the **hinge latch upward** until you feel a solid snap. Give the wrap a light tug—if it’s latched, it won’t move.

### Repeat on the Left Side

1.  Grab the piece labeled **Left** with the **tabs facing left**.
2.  Repeat the same steps: slide over the left end of the spring tube → over the cable drum → pull cable slightly to clear → snap the catches into the third rib → rotate the hinge latch up to lock.

### Final Checks

-   Both wraps are fully seated against the last rib of each drum.
-   Each hinge latch is snapped fully closed (positive “click”).
-   Lift cables are properly routed in the drum grooves and clear of the latch areas.
-   You can now proceed with installing the **end brackets**.

### Tips & Troubleshooting

-   **Wrap won’t seat?** Make sure you’re on the correct side and the **tabs face the correct direction**. Re-check that the cable is pulled slightly out of the way.
-   **No positive “click” on the hinge?** Press the wrap tighter against the last rib, then rotate the hinge latch again until it snaps.
-   **Installed after end brackets?** Remove the end bracket for that side, install the wrap as shown, then reinstall the bracket.
