# Genie Garage Door Opener Keypads

Genie wireless keypads provide convenient keyless entry using a secure PIN. Compatibility depends on the opener’s **manufacture date** and Intellicode version. Note: **pre-1993** non-Intellicode models do not support replacement keypads.

How do I know which Chamberlain remote will work with my opener?

Check the color of the **Learn button** on your opener’s motor unit. Orange/amber or purple buttons use Security+ rolling code remotes, while older dip switch models require a compatible fixed code remote.
